   Press and hold the Power button, then tap Power Off on the screen. Ensure the phone is completely shut down before starting.

   Eject SIM Card Tray

   Insert a SIM eject pin into the small hole on the left edge of the phone. Push inward until the tray pops out, then remove it completely.

   Heat Rear Cover

   Use a heat gun or hair dryer on low heat to warm the edges of the back panel for two minutes. This softens the adhesive holding the plastic cover.

   Slice Rear Adhesive

   Attach a suction cup near the bottom edge of the rear panel and gently pull up to create a gap. Insert an opening pick and slide it around the perimeter to slice the adhesive.

   Remove Rear Plastic Cover

   Carefully lift the back cover away from the housing once all edges are freed. Set the rear panel aside on a clean surface.

   Unscrew Midframe Fasteners

   Unclip Plastic Midframe

   Use a spudger to pry up the screen flex cable connector located near the bottom half of the mainboard. Peel up any securing tape over the ribbon.

    Heat Damaged Front Screen

    Apply heat across the front screen for 2 to 3 minutes using a heat gun. Pay special attention to the bezels to loosen the strong display adhesive.

    Pry Screen from Frame

    Press a suction cup onto the glass near the bottom edge and lift upward. Insert thin opening picks into the gap and slide them along all four sides.

    Remove Broken Screen Assembly

    Gently lift the display assembly off the chassis while guiding the ribbon cable through its frame slot. Set the damaged screen aside for disposal.

    Clean Old Adhesive Residue

    Scrape away leftover adhesive strips and broken glass shards from the frame perimeter. Wipe the channel with 99% isopropyl alcohol and a lint-free cloth.

    Dry Fit and Test Screen

    Feed the new display flex ribbon through the frame slot and connect it to the mainboard, then temporarily reconnect the battery. Power on the phone to test the touch functionality and image output.

    Apply Fresh Display Adhesive

    Turn off the phone, disconnect the battery and test screen, then stick double-sided adhesive strips along the internal frame bezel. Peel off the protective backing film.

    Mount Replacement Display Screen

    Secure Cables and Reattach Midframe
