Step-by-step

Eject SIM Card Tray
1 minInsert a SIM eject pin into the hole on the top edge of the Moto G7 and pull out the tray.

Heat Rear Glass Panel
2 minApply heat to the edges of the rear glass with a heat gun for 2 minutes to soften the perimeter adhesive.

Apply Suction Cup
1 minPlace a suction cup on the lower portion of the rear glass cover and pull upward to create a small gap.

Slice Perimeter Adhesive
3 minInsert a plastic pry tool into the gap and slide along all four edges to release the back cover adhesive.

Hinge Back Cover Open
1 minCarefully tilt the rear glass open from the right side, taking care not to strain the fingerprint sensor cable.
