Eject the SIM card tray
2 minInsert a SIM eject tool or thin paperclip into the hole next to the SIM tray, then pull the tray straight out.

Attach a suction cup

10 minDip a soft ESD brush into 99% isopropyl alcohol and thoroughly scrub all water deposits and corrosion off both circuit boards.

Dry the components
5 minUse compressed air to blow remaining alcohol out from under shield cans and let the boards dry completely for 30 minutes.
