Power Off Device
1 minPress and hold the power button, then select Power Off on the screen. Ensure the device is fully shut down before proceeding.

Eject SIM Tray
1 minInsert a SIM eject tool or thin paperclip into the hole next to the SIM tray. Press firmly to eject the tray and pull it out.

Disconnect Display Flex
1 minLocate the wide display ribbon cable on the motherboard. Pry the press connector straight up with your spudger to disconnect it.

2 minApply light, indirect heat to the front glass for 1 to 2 minutes over the battery region. This releases the strong glue underneath the battery.

Pry Out Battery
4 minInsert a flat spudger or wide plastic card beneath the battery edge. Carefully pry upward using steady pressure until the battery releases from the frame.

Heat Front Display
