Power Off Phone
1 minPress and hold the power button until the options menu appears, then tap Power Off.

Heat Rear Cover
3 minApply a heat gun or hair dryer around the edges of the back glass for 2-3 minutes to soften the adhesive.

Attach Suction Cup
2 minPlace a suction cup near the bottom edge of the rear glass and pull upward to create a slight gap.

Insert Opening Pick
2 minSlide a plastic prying tool or opening pick into the gap created by the suction cup.

Slice Rear Adhesive
5 minCarefully slide the opening tool around all four edges of the back cover to cut through the glue.

Lift Rear Glass
2 minGently lift the back glass slightly, taking care not to strain the fingerprint sensor flex cable.

Disconnect Fingerprint Cable
2 minUse a spudger to pop the fingerprint sensor cable connector off the motherboard and remove the back cover.

2 minInsert a spudger under the loudspeaker module and gently lift it out from the bottom housing.

2 minAlign the replacement loudspeaker module with the housing cavity and press it firmly into place.

Reconnect Battery Cable
1 minAlign the battery press connector over its socket and press down firmly until it snaps into place.

Reinstall Speaker Cover
3 minPlace the lower speaker cover back into position and tighten its Phillips #00 screws.

Reconnect Fingerprint Cable
2 minAttach the fingerprint sensor flex cable connector back onto the motherboard socket.

Apply Pre-Cut Adhesive
4 minPeel and place new pre-cut adhesive tape along the perimeter of the phone frame.

Seal Rear Cover
2 minAlign the back glass over the frame and press firmly around all edges to secure the bond.
