Eject the SIM tray
1 minInsert a SIM eject tool into the hole on the left edge of the phone. Push firmly to pop out the tray and remove it.

2 minApply heat to the edges of the back cover for 2 minutes using a heat gun or hairdryer. This softens the internal adhesive seal.

Attach the suction cup
1 minPress a suction cup onto the lower portion of the rear panel. Pull up gently to create a small gap along the bottom seam.

Slice the back cover adhesive

Pry off the midframe shield

Disconnect the battery cable

3 minGuide your opening pick around all four sides of the display assembly. Carefully separate the glued glass panel from the frame.

Thread and remove the screen
2 minLift the screen away from the body while threading the attached flex cable through the slot in the frame. Remove the old screen.

Clean old frame adhesive

Apply frame adhesive tape
