   Power Off Device

   Press and hold the power button, then select Power Off. Ensure the screen turns completely dark before proceeding.

   Eject SIM Tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool into the pinhole next to the SIM tray. Push firmly to pop the tray out, then remove it.

   Heat Rear Cover

   Apply a heated iOpener or heat gun to the edges of the back cover for two minutes to soften the adhesive.

   Attach Suction Cup

   Place a suction cup near the bottom edge of the rear cover. Pull up gently to create a small opening.

   Insert Opening Pick

   Slide a thin plastic opening pick into the gap created between the frame and the back panel.

   Slice Back Adhesive

   Slide the opening pick around the entire perimeter of the phone to slice through the adhesive layer.

   Remove Rear Panel

   Carefully lift the rear cover off the frame and set it aside on a clean surface.

   Unscrew Motherboard Cover

   Remove the Phillips #00 screws securing the plastic motherboard protection cover at the top.

   Detach Upper Shield

   Insert a spudger under the motherboard shield and gently lift it up to unclip and remove it.

    Disconnect Battery Cable

    Pry the battery press connector straight up off the motherboard using a plastic spudger.

    Unscrew Speaker Assembly

    Remove the Phillips #00 screws securing the bottom loudspeaker cover to the phone housing.

    Remove Loudspeaker

    Insert the tip of an opening tool under the speaker module and lift it out of the chassis.

    Disconnect Sub-Board Flex

    Use a spudger to snap the main interconnect flex cable off the charging port sub-board connector.

    Disconnect Antenna Cables

    Carefully pry up the coaxial antenna cable heads from the sub-board using fine-tip tweezers.

    Pry Up Sub-Board

    Insert a flat spudger under the sub-board and lift the damaged charging port board out of the cavity.

    Insert New Sub-Board

    Place the new charging port sub-board into the bottom frame cavity and press it flush into position.

    Attach Antenna Cables

    Align the coaxial antenna cable heads over their sockets and snap them down gently with tweezers.

    Reconnect Sub-Board Flex

    Align the main interconnect flex cable over the sub-board socket and press down to lock it in place.

    Set Loudspeaker Assembly

    Position the loudspeaker housing over the sub-board compartment at the bottom of the frame.

    Secure Speaker Screws

    Reinstall and tighten the Phillips #00 screws holding the loudspeaker assembly to the housing.

    Reconnect Battery Flex

    Align the battery press connector over its motherboard socket and press straight down to reconnect power.

    Reinstall Upper Shield

    Position the upper motherboard cover over the board and secure it with the Phillips #00 screws.

    Apply Rear Adhesive

    Clean off old glue residue and apply new pre-cut adhesive tape along the outer perimeter of the frame.

    Seal Rear Panel

    Align the rear panel with the frame, press firmly along all edges to seat the adhesive, and reinsert the SIM tray.
