Step-by-step

Power Down Device
1 minTurn off your Motorola Moto G60S completely before starting the disassembly.

Eject SIM Tray
1 minInsert a SIM eject tool into the hole on the left edge and remove the SIM card tray.

Warm Back Cover
3 minApply mild heat with a heat gun around the edges of the back panel for two minutes to soften the adhesive.

Attach Suction Cup
2 minPlace a suction cup on the lower portion of the rear cover and pull gently to create a small gap.

Slice Rear Adhesive
4 minInsert a plastic opening pick into the gap and slide it along the perimeter to cut through the adhesive.

Detach Rear Cover
2 minCarefully lift the rear panel off the frame without damaging internal flex cables.

Unscrew Speaker Module
3 minUse a Phillips #000 screwdriver to remove the screws securing the bottom loudspeaker cover.

Remove Loudspeaker Unit
2 minInsert a spudger under the loudspeaker housing and pry it up from the chassis.

Disconnect Main Interconnect Cable
2 minUse the flat end of a spudger to disconnect the main ribbon cable from the sub-board.

Disconnect Antenna Cable
2 minGently pry up the coaxial antenna cable connector from the sub-board using fine tweezers.

Pry Out Daughterboard
3 minLever the sub-board containing the primary microphone up from the bottom housing and remove it.

Transfer Rubber Gasket
2 minMove the small rubber microphone boot from the original board onto the new microphone port.

Seat Replacement Board
2 minAlign the new sub-board in the lower chassis slot and press gently into place.

Reconnect Internal Cables
3 minAttach the coaxial antenna wire and main interconnect ribbon cable to the new board.

Reinstall Loudspeaker Module
3 minSet the loudspeaker cover over the sub-board and tighten all retaining screws securely.

Reseal Back Cover
5 minApply replacement pre-cut adhesive to the rear frame and press the back panel down firmly.
