   Power off the device

   Press and hold the power button, then select 'Power off' on the screen. Ensure the phone is completely shut down before starting.

   Heat the back glass

   Use a heat gun or hair dryer on medium heat to warm the edges of the rear glass cover for 2-3 minutes. This softens the factory adhesive underneath.

   Apply a suction cup

   Place a suction cup onto the lower section of the rear glass cover. Pull up gently on the ring to create a small gap between the glass and frame.

   Slice the back glass adhesive

   Insert a plastic opening pick into the gap created by the suction cup. Carefully slide the pick along the perimeter to slice all remaining adhesive.

   Disconnect the fingerprint sensor

   Gently tilt the back glass open from the right side. Use tweezers or a spudger to pop off the metal bracket and disconnect the fingerprint flex cable from the motherboard.

   Remove the rear midframe screws

   Use a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove all visible screws securing the internal plastic midframe and motherboard shield.

   Pry up the midframe

   Insert a spudger under the edges of the plastic midframe assembly. Gently pry it upward to detach it from the phone chassis.

   Disconnect the battery cable

   Locate the battery connector on the motherboard. Use the flat edge of a plastic spudger to lift the connector straight up and disconnect it.

   Disconnect the display flex cable

   Unplug the display flex cable connector from the motherboard using your plastic spudger.

    Heat the front display

    Apply heat evenly around the outer edges of the front glass screen for 3 minutes to soften the display adhesive.

    Insert an opening pick under the screen

    Place a suction cup near the bottom edge of the screen and pull upward. Slide a thin opening pick into the gap between the glass screen and metal bezel.

    Slice the front screen adhesive

    Slowly guide the opening pick around all four edges of the front glass screen to separate it completely from the frame.

    Remove the broken screen

    Carefully lift the display off the frame, threading the display flex cable through the slot in the chassis.

    Clean the frame chassis

    Scrape off residual glue and shattered glass fragments from the metal frame. Clean the frame rim using isopropyl alcohol and a lint-free cloth.

    Apply new screen adhesive

    Lay pre-cut adhesive strips precisely onto the perimeter of the internal frame, pressing firmly down before peeling away the protective backing.

    Thread the display flex cable

    Guide the new display assembly's flex cable through the frame slot from the front side.

    Press the new screen into place

    Align the replacement screen carefully with the edges of the frame and press firmly around all borders to secure it to the adhesive.

    Reconnect the display cable

    Attach the display flex cable connector back onto its socket on the motherboard until it clicks into place.

    Press the battery connector firmly back onto the motherboard socket to restore power connectivity.

    Reinstall the midframe

    Position the plastic midframe over the motherboard and press down around the edges. Secure it using the Phillips #00 screws.

    Reconnect the fingerprint sensor

    Plug the rear glass fingerprint flex cable back into the motherboard and reattach its metal retention bracket.

    Seal the back cover

    Apply new back cover adhesive to the rear housing perimeter, lower the back glass back onto the frame, and press firmly around all edges.
