   Power Off Phone

   Press and hold the power button, then select Power Off on the screen. Ensure the phone is completely shut down before proceeding.

   Eject SIM Tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool into the hole at the top edge of the phone. Push firmly inward to pop out the SIM card tray and set it aside.

   Heat Rear Panel

   Apply heat to the outer edges of the rear glass cover using a heat gun or hair dryer for 2 to 3 minutes. This softens the factory adhesive holding the back panel.

   Attach Suction Cup

   Press a suction cup firmly onto the lower third of the back glass panel. Pull up on the ring to create a slight gap between the glass and the body frame.

   Insert Opening Pick

   Slide a thin plastic opening pick into the gap created by the suction cup. Be careful not to insert the pick deeper than 3mm to protect internal components.

   Slice Perimeter Adhesive

   Slide the opening pick around all four edges of the back cover to cut through the adhesive seal. Apply extra heat if you encounter tough resistance.

   Lift Off Rear Glass

   Carefully lift the rear glass panel away from the frame. Set the glass panel aside in a clean, safe area.

   Remove Upper Bracket Screws

   Use a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove all screws securing the upper motherboard shield and camera surround. Keep track of each screw position.

   Remove Motherboard Cover

   Gently insert a spudger under the plastic motherboard bracket and pry it upward to detach it from the phone. Remove the bracket.

    Disconnect Battery Flex

    Use the flat end of a plastic spudger to pry the battery flex cable straight up from its motherboard socket. Disconnecting power prevents accidental short circuits.

    Disconnect Main Interconnect Cable

    Unplug the main flex cable running over top of the battery using a spudger. Move the cable clear of the battery compartment.

    Soften Battery Adhesive

    Apply a few drops of high-concentration isopropyl alcohol around the edges of the battery. Allow 1 to 2 minutes for the liquid to weaken the glue.

    Pry Out Battery

    Insert a flat plastic opening card beneath the bottom edge of the battery. Slowly pry upward with steady pressure to release the battery from the housing.

    Remove Battery from Housing

    Lift the degraded battery out of the frame completely. Store it safely for proper disposal.

    Clean Chassis Recess

    Scrape away remaining adhesive residue inside the battery well using a plastic tool and isopropyl alcohol. Wipe clean with a lint-free cloth.

    Apply New Battery Adhesive

    Attach fresh adhesive tape to the back of the replacement battery. Peel off the protective film backing before installation.

    Install Replacement Battery

    Position the new battery in the recess and press down firmly across its surface to set the adhesive bond.

    Reconnect Main Interconnect Cable

    Align the main flex cable over its connector on the lower and upper boards, then press down firmly until it clicks.

    Reconnect Battery Cable

    Press the battery connector directly down onto its socket on the motherboard until it snaps into place.

    Place the upper plastic cover back into position over the motherboard, aligning the clips along the edges.

    Thread and tighten the Phillips screws into the motherboard cover until snug. Do not overtighten.

    Prepare Rear Adhesive

    Clean the perimeter frame of old adhesive and apply fresh pre-cut double-sided adhesive strips along the housing border.
