   Power off the phone

   Press and hold the power button, then select 'Power off' on the screen.

   Eject the SIM card tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool into the hole next to the SIM tray on the left edge and push firmly to pop it out.

   Heat the rear panel

   Use a heat gun or hair dryer on low heat for 2 minutes to soften the adhesive around the edges of the back cover.

   Attach suction cup to rear cover

   Place a suction cup near the bottom edge of the back panel and pull up gently to create a small gap.

    Apply heat evenly across the entire front screen for 2 to 3 minutes to loosen the screen adhesive.

    Attach suction cup to front screen

    Press the suction cup onto the lower half of the front glass.

    Pull up on the suction cup and slide an opening pick between the display glass assembly and the frame.

    Separate display from frame

    Slice around all edges with the pick to free the screen, guiding the display flex cable through the slot in the frame.

    Clean adhesive residue from chassis

    Use a spudger and isopropyl alcohol on a microfiber cloth to scrape away old glue and glass bits from the frame perimeter.

    Apply new display adhesive

    Lay double-sided adhesive strips along the inner rim of the phone frame, avoiding sensor cutouts.

    Route and position new screen

    Thread the new display's flex cable through the frame slot, align the screen with the bezel, and press it firmly into place.

    Reconnect display flex cable

    Align the display cable press connector over its motherboard socket and press down firmly until it snaps into place.

    Snap the battery connector back onto the motherboard terminal.
