   Power Off the Device

   Press and hold the power button, then select 'Power Off' on the screen. Ensure the device is fully shut down before starting.

   Eject the SIM Tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool into the small hole beside the tray on the left frame edge. Push firmly to pop the tray out and remove it.

   Heat the Back Cover

   Apply a heat gun or hair dryer around the outer edges of the rear cover for 2 minutes on low heat. This softens the factory adhesive underneath.

   Attach the Suction Cup

   Press a suction cup firmly near the bottom edge of the back cover. Pull up gently to create a slight gap between the cover and the frame.

   Slice Rear Adhesive

   Insert a plastic opening pick into the gap created by the suction cup. Carefully slide the pick along the lower, side, and top edges to release the adhesive.

   Remove the Back Cover

   Lift the rear cover straight off the chassis. Place it on a clean workspace to avoid scratching the camera lens area.

   Unscrew Lower Frame Screws

   Use a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove all screws securing the bottom loudspeaker assembly.

   Remove Loudspeaker Module

   Insert the pointed tip of a spudger under the edge of the loudspeaker housing. Pry upward gently and lift the module off the device.

   Disconnect Interconnect Cable

   Use the flat end of a spudger to pry the main ribbon cable connector straight up from the bottom sub-board.

    Disconnect Antenna Coaxial Cable

    Grasp the antenna cable head near the connector with precision tweezers. Lift straight up to disconnect it from the sub-board.

    Pry Up Sub-Board

    Insert a flat spudger under the edge of the sub-board containing the faulty primary microphone. Pry upward gently to free it from the frame adhesive.

    Position Replacement Sub-Board

    Align the replacement sub-board into the bottom frame cavity. Press down gently until it sits completely flat and flush.

    Connect Antenna Coaxial Cable

    Position the antenna cable head directly over its socket on the new sub-board. Press down gently with a spudger until it snaps into place.

    Reconnect Interconnect Cable

    Align the main flex cable connector over the sub-board socket. Press firmly down until you feel a distinct click.

    Reinstall Loudspeaker Assembly

    Place the loudspeaker housing back over the bottom daughterboard. Ensure all outer plastic clips engage with the frame properly.

    Secure Loudspeaker Screws

    Reinsert and tighten the Phillips #00 screws into the loudspeaker module until snug.

    Apply Back Cover Adhesive

    Clean remaining adhesive off the frame perimeter using isopropyl alcohol, then apply a new pre-cut adhesive strip onto the frame.

    Press Back Cover Closed

    Align the back cover with the outer frame and lower it into position. Apply moderate pressure along all edges for 30 seconds to bond the adhesive.

    Reinsert SIM Tray

    Slide the SIM card tray back into its slot on the left edge of the phone until it sits flush with the frame.
