Power Off Phone
1 minPress and hold the power button on the side of the phone, then tap Power Off on the screen.

Pry Off Back Cover

Remove SIM and MicroSD Cards

2 minUse tweezers or a spudger tip to gently flip up the small locking flap on the volume button ribbon cable ZIF socket.

Peel Up Volume Button Flex Cable
2 minSlide precision tweezers under the volume and power button flex cable, gently peeling it away from the side frame adhesive.

Position Replacement Volume Flex Cable
2 minAlign the replacement volume button flex assembly with the alignment pegs on the side of the chassis.

Connect Volume Button Ribbon Cable
2 minSlide the flex cable end into the ZIF socket and flip the locking flap down to secure the connection.

Reconnect Battery Cable
1 minAlign the battery flex connector over its socket and press firmly until it snaps into place.

Snap Midframe onto Assembly
2 minAlign the midframe over the phone chassis and press along the edges until all plastic tabs click closed.

Reinstall Midframe Screws
4 minThread and tighten the 20 Torx T3 screws to secure the midframe.

Reattach Back Cover
1 minReinsert any SIM/MicroSD cards, then snap the plastic back cover back onto the phone frame.
