Peel Rubber Covers
2 minUse fine tweezers to gently peel away the small rubber dampeners covering the hidden screws.

Remove Hidden Screws
2 minUnscrew the remaining hidden Phillips #00 screws located underneath the rubber covers.

Unclip Rear Midframe
3 minSlide a plastic opening pick around the edge seam to unclip the midframe from the display assembly.

Lift Off Midframe
1 minCarefully lift the midframe away from the phone body and set it face down on your mat.

Disconnect Battery Cable
2 minPry up the battery press connector from the motherboard using a plastic spudger to cut power.

Remove Damaged Speaker
2 minInsert tweezers under the edge of the speaker module and pry it out of its midframe recess.

Clean Speaker Recess
2 minClear any leftover adhesive or debris from the speaker cavity using isopropyl alcohol on a cotton swab.

Insert Replacement Speaker
2 minAlign the gold contact pins on the new speaker module with the housing and press it firmly into place.

Reconnect Battery Cable
1 minAlign the battery press connector over its socket and press down until it clicks securely.

Reattach Rear Midframe
3 minPosition the midframe onto the chassis and press around all edges until the plastic clips snap together.

Fasten Frame Screws
4 minReinstall all Torx T3 and Phillips #00 screws back into their original locations.

Reinstall Back Cover
2 minReinsert your cards, then press the plastic rear cover firmly onto the phone until fully seated.
