Power Down the Device
1 minPress and hold the power button, then select Power Off on the screen. Ensure the device is fully shut down before proceeding.

Eject the SIM Tray
1 minInsert a SIM eject tool into the pinhole on the side of the device. Push firmly to pop the tray out and remove it.

2 minInsert the flat end of a spudger beneath the edge of the lower speaker assembly and pry it upward.

Disconnect Battery Cable
1 minPry the battery press connector straight up from its motherboard socket using a spudger to cut power.

Pry Out Loudspeaker
2 minGently wedge a spudger under the loudspeaker module and lift it out from the chassis cavity.

Clean Recess Cavity
2 minUse tweezers to clear away any remaining adhesive residue or debris from the speaker slot.

Install New Speaker
2 minAlign the replacement loudspeaker module with the cavity and press it firmly into position.

Reconnect Battery Cable
1 minAlign the battery flex connector over its socket and press down squarely until it clicks.

Position Speaker Bracket
1 minSet the lower plastic housing cover back onto the bottom frame assembly.

Secure Housing Screws

Reapply Rear Adhesive
2 minApply new pre-cut adhesive strips around the rim of the phone's inner frame.
