Power Off the Phone
1 minPress and hold the power button, then tap 'Power off' on the screen. Ensure the device is completely shut down before starting.

Eject the SIM Tray
1 minInsert a SIM eject tool into the small hole beside the SIM tray. Press firmly to pop out the tray and remove it.

Heat the Back Cover
2 minApply heat around the edges of the back cover for two minutes using a heat gun. Keep the heat source moving constantly to prevent damage.

Slice Back Cover Adhesive
4 minAttach a suction cup near the bottom edge and pull upward to create a gap. Insert an opening pick and slide it around the perimeter to slice the adhesive.

Unscrew Rear Frame Screws
3 minUse a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove all screws securing the upper motherboard shield. Organize the screws by position for reassembly.

Remove Upper Plastic Shield
2 minInsert a plastic spudger beneath the edge of the motherboard shield. Pry upward to unhook the clips and lift the shield off.

2 minPlace a suction cup on the front glass and pull upward to create a small gap at the bottom edge. Insert an opening pick under the display glass.

Slice Screen Frame Adhesive
4 minSlide the opening pick slowly along all four sides of the front glass to slice through the adhesive. Avoid inserting the pick too deep to prevent frame damage.

Remove Damaged Screen Assembly
2 minLift the display assembly off the frame while carefully guiding its ribbon cable through the slot in the midframe.

Clean Midframe Residue
3 minScrape away old adhesive and glass fragments from the screen rim using a spudger and isopropyl alcohol. Ensure the frame surface is flat and dry.

Apply Screen Frame Adhesive
3 minApply pre-cut screen adhesive tape around the perimeter of the midframe. Press down firmly on the tape to ensure strong adhesion.

Thread New Screen Cable

Reseal the Back Cover
3 minApply fresh back cover adhesive tape along the rear body, align the back cover, and press firmly along all edges to seal the phone.
