   Power Off Device

   Press and hold the power button, then select Power Off on the screen. Ensure the device is completely powered down before starting.

   Remove SIM Card Tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool into the hole next to the card slot. Push gently until the tray pops out, then remove it.

   Heat Back Cover

   Apply heat evenly around the outer edges of the rear panel using a heat gun on low power for two minutes to soften the adhesive.

   Apply Suction Cup

   Attach a suction cup near the bottom edge of the rear cover. Pull upward firmly to create a slight gap between the cover and the chassis.

   Slice Back Panel Adhesive

   Insert a plastic opening pick into the gap created by the suction cup. Slide it along the perimeter to slice through the adhesive.

   Remove Rear Panel

   Carefully lift the rear panel away from the phone body and set it aside on a clean surface.

   Unbolt Loudspeaker Bracket

   Use a Phillips #000 screwdriver to remove the screws securing the bottom loudspeaker assembly.

   Pry Out Loudspeaker Module

   Insert the flat end of a spudger beneath the loudspeaker module and pry upward to remove it from the frame.

   Disconnect Battery Cable

   Locate the battery flex cable connector on the motherboard and disconnect it using a plastic spudger to disable power.

    Disconnect Interconnect Cable

    Use a spudger to pop off the main interconnect ribbon cable press connector from the sub-board.

    Detach Antenna Coaxial Cables

    Use fine tweezers to gently pry up the antenna coaxial cables connected to the bottom daughterboard.

    Remove Microphone Sub-board

    Pry the sub-board containing the integrated primary microphone up from the bottom housing recess.

    Position New Sub-board

    Place the replacement microphone daughterboard into the lower housing, pressing gently to seat it in position.

    Reconnect Antenna and Flex Cables

    Snap the antenna coaxial connectors onto the sub-board, then press down the interconnect ribbon cable until it clicks.

    Reconnect Battery Cable

    Align the battery flex connector over its terminal on the mainboard and press down firmly to re-engage power.

    Reinstall Loudspeaker Assembly

    Lower the loudspeaker housing back over the sub-board and tighten the Phillips screws securely.

    Reseal Rear Cover

    Apply pre-cut adhesive strips along the phone frame perimeter, place the rear panel back on top, and press firmly along the edges.
