   Remove SIM Card Tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool into the pinhole on the side of the device. Press inward firmly to pop out the tray and remove it.

   Power Off Phone

   Press and hold the power button until the options menu appears. Tap Power Off and ensure the device fully shuts down.

   Heat Rear Cover

   Apply heat evenly around the outer edges of the back panel for approximately two minutes. This softens the factory adhesive securing the panel.

   Attach Suction Cup

   Place a suction cup on the lower third of the back cover and press down to create a seal. Pull up firmly to create a small gap at the seam.

   Insert Opening Pick

   Push a plastic opening pick into the gap created between the back panel and the frame. Take care not to insert it deeper than 3 millimeters.

   Slice Perimeter Adhesive

   Slide the plastic pick carefully around all four edges of the back panel. Apply additional heat if the adhesive offers strong resistance.

   Remove Back Cover

   Lift the rear cover away from the chassis entirely. Set the back panel aside on a clean workspace.

   Unscrew Midframe Fasteners

   Use a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove all visible screws securing the internal plastic midframe. Organize the screws safely for reassembly.

   Detach Midframe Shield

   Insert a spudger under the edge of the plastic midframe bracket. Gently pry up to unclip it from the phone body and remove it.

    Disconnect Battery Cable

    Locate the battery press-connector on the motherboard. Pry the connector straight up using a plastic spudger to cut power.

    Unplug Power Button Cable

    Find the power button flex connector on the side of the motherboard. Use a spudger to disconnect the press connector straight up.

    Pry Out Damaged Flex Assembly

    Slide precision tweezers beneath the power button flex strip inside the side frame recess. Carefully peel the adhesive-backed cable off the frame.

    Position New Power Button Flex

    Align the replacement power button flex cable into the side frame channel. Press down firmly along the ribbon so the adhesive sticks securely.

    Attach Power Cable Connector

    Align the power button flex connector directly over its motherboard socket. Snap it into place by pressing down gently until it clicks.

    Reconnect Battery Cable

    Position the battery press connector over its motherboard socket. Press down firmly until it snaps into place.

    Secure Midframe Shield

    Set the plastic midframe shield back onto the chassis and press along the edges to clip it into place. Reinstall all Phillips #00 screws.

    Reseal Back Cover

    Apply fresh precut adhesive along the outer edge of the frame. Align the back cover and press down firmly around all edges to seal the phone.
