   Power off the phone

   Press and hold the power button, then select power off on the screen. Ensure the device is completely powered down before proceeding.

   Remove the SIM tray

   Insert a SIM eject pin into the small hole next to the SIM tray on the left side of the frame. Push firmly until the tray pops out, then pull it out completely.

   Heat the back panel

   Apply heat to the edges of the back panel using a heat gun for approximately two minutes to soften the internal adhesive.

   Apply suction cup

   Attach a suction cup near the bottom edge of the back panel. Pull up gently on the suction cup to create a slight gap between the cover and the frame.

   Insert opening pick

   Insert a thin plastic opening pick into the gap created by the suction cup. Slide it slowly along the bottom seam to cut through the adhesive.

   Slice side adhesive

   Move the pick around the remaining corners and side edges of the back panel. Take care around flex cables near the power button area.

   Lift the back cover

   Gently hinge the back panel open from the left side. Disconnect any attached sensor flex cables if equipped before completely setting the panel aside.

   Unscrew speaker housing

   Use a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove the screws securing the lower speaker housing over the charging board.

   Remove speaker housing

   Insert the flat end of a spudger beneath the lower speaker module. Gently pry it up and lift it away from the chassis.

    Disconnect main flex cable

    Locate the wide interconnect flex cable connected to the charging board. Use a plastic spudger to pry the press connector straight up.

    Disconnect antenna cables

    Use precision tweezers to pry up the gold coaxial antenna head from its socket on the daughterboard.

    Remove the daughterboard

    Pry gently beneath the original charging port daughterboard to loosen the underlying adhesive. Lift the board out of the phone frame.

    Install new daughterboard

    Align the replacement charging port board with the alignment pegs in the bottom housing. Press it firmly into place.

    Reconnect antenna cables

    Align the antenna coaxial connector over its socket on the new board. Press down gently until it snaps into position.

    Connect main flex cable

    Align the main interconnect cable press connector above the daughterboard socket. Press down evenly on both sides until it clicks.

    Secure speaker housing

    Place the lower speaker assembly back onto the frame. Reinstall all Phillips #00 screws tightly to hold it in position.

    Apply back panel adhesive

    Clean off old adhesive remnants using isopropyl alcohol, then align fresh pre-cut adhesive strips along the perimeter frame.

    Reattach the back cover

    Align the back cover precisely over the frame and lower it into position. Press firmly along all edges to ensure a tight seal.
