   Power off device

   Press and hold the power button, then select Power Off on the screen. Ensure the device is completely powered down before proceeding.

   Remove SIM tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool into the hole next to the SIM card tray on the left frame. Push firmly to eject the tray and remove it.

   Heat rear panel

   Use a heat gun or hair dryer on low heat to warm the outer edges of the rear panel for 2 minutes. This softens the adhesive holding the back cover to the frame.

   Attach suction cup

   Place a suction cup near the bottom edge of the back panel and press down firmly. Pull up gently on the ring to create a small gap.

   Insert opening pick

   Insert a thin plastic opening pick into the seam created under the rear cover. Do not push the pick in more than 3 mm to avoid damaging interior cables.

   Slice panel adhesive

   Slide the opening pick along all four edges of the phone to cut through the perimeter adhesive. Apply additional heat if you feel strong resistance.

   Lift off back panel

   Carefully lift the rear panel away from the frame and place it on a clean surface. Clean off any residual adhesive along the edges with isopropyl alcohol.

   Unscrew speaker housing

   Use a Phillips #000 screwdriver to remove the screws securing the lower speaker assembly. Store the screws together so they do not get lost.

   Remove speaker assembly

   Insert the flat end of a spudger under the speaker housing and gently lift it out. Set the speaker module aside.

    Disconnect main flex cable

    Pry up the lower connector of the main interconnect flex cable from the sub-board using a spudger. Lift the flex cable slightly clear of the board.

    Disconnect antenna cable

    Use tweezers to carefully pop the coaxial antenna cable connector off the right side of the sub-board. Handle the thin cable gently to prevent tearing.

    Remove sub-board screw

    Unthread the single Phillips #000 screw holding the sub-board to the phone frame.

    Pry up damaged board

    Slide a flat spudger under the sub-board and lift it out of the lower chassis cavity. Inspect the cavity for any debris or leftover adhesive.

    Install new microphone board

    Place the new microphone sub-board into the lower chassis notch and press gently into place. Ensure the primary microphone opening aligns properly with the bottom frame hole.

    Secure sub-board screw

    Insert and tighten the Phillips #000 retaining screw to secure the new board.

    Reconnect antenna cable

    Align the coaxial cable connector over its socket on the sub-board and press down firmly until it snaps into place.

    Reconnect main flex cable

    Align the main flex cable connector above the sub-board socket and press gently until it clicks.

    Reinstall speaker housing

    Position the lower speaker module over the sub-board and press it flat. Reinstall the Phillips #000 screws to secure the speaker assembly.

    Apply back cover adhesive

    Apply new pre-cut adhesive strips around the perimeter of the internal frame. Remove the adhesive protective backing film.

    Reattach rear panel

    Align the rear cover with the phone frame and press firmly around all edges to seal it. Apply firm pressure along the perimeter for 1 minute to complete the seal.
