   Power Down the Phone

   Press and hold the power button, then tap 'Power Off' on the screen. Ensure the device is completely shut down before proceeding.

   Eject the SIM Tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool into the hole on the left edge of the phone. Push firmly until the tray pops out, then remove it completely.

   Heat the Rear Cover

   Apply heat evenly along the edges of the back cover for 2 to 3 minutes using a heat gun set to low. This softens the factory adhesive securing the plastic panel.

   Attach the Suction Cup

   Place a suction cup near the bottom edge of the rear panel. Pull up gently on the suction ring to create a small seam between the cover and the frame.

   Slice the Adhesive

   Insert a plastic opening pick into the gap created by the suction cup. Slide the pick around all four edges to slice through the adhesive perimeter.

   Remove the Rear Cover

   Lift the rear cover straight off the frame once all adhesive is cut. Set the cover aside in a clean area.

   Unscrew Upper Midframe

   Use a Phillips #000 screwdriver to remove all screws securing the upper plastic midframe cover.

   Remove Upper Midframe

   Insert a flat plastic spudger beneath the edge of the upper midframe cover. Pry gently to release the plastic clips and lift the cover off.

   Disconnect Battery Cable

   Use the flat tip of a spudger to pry the battery flex cable connector straight up from its socket on the logic board.

    Disconnect Interconnect Cables

    Locate the display and sub-board flex connectors on the logic board. Pry each connector straight up using a spudger to disconnect them.

    Unclip Antenna Cables

    Use precision tweezers to grasp the metal head of the coaxial antenna cables. Carefully lift them straight up to unclip from the board.

    Disconnect Camera Cables

    Unplug the front and rear camera flex cables from the logic board using the tip of your spudger.

    Remove Logic Board Screws

    Remove the remaining Phillips screws holding the main logic board to the phone's internal housing frame.

    Lift Out Logic Board

    Carefully insert a spudger under the top corner of the logic board. Pivot the board upward and lift it clear from the frame.

    Install New Logic Board

    Position the new replacement logic board into the chassis. Press down gently until it sits flat and aligns with all mounting posts.
