   Power Off the Device

   Press and hold the power button, then tap Power Off on the screen. Ensure the device is fully powered down before proceeding.

   Remove the SIM Card Tray

   Insert a SIM ejector tool into the small hole beside the SIM tray on the side of the phone. Push firmly until the tray ejects, then pull it out completely.

   Heat the Rear Cover Edges

   Use a heat gun or hair dryer on low setting to warm the outer edges of the back cover for two minutes. This softens the factory adhesive underneath.

   Attach the Suction Cup

   Place a suction cup near the bottom edge of the back panel. Press down firmly to create a seal against the glass or plastic cover.

   Slice the Rear Cover Adhesive

   Pull up on the suction cup to create a slight gap, then slide a plastic opening pick beneath the back cover. Move the pick around all four edges to cut through the adhesive.

   Remove the Back Cover

   Gently lift the back cover off the chassis once all adhesive is sliced. Set the rear panel aside in a safe location.

   Unscrew the Lower Speaker Housing

   Use a Phillips #000 screwdriver to remove all screws securing the bottom speaker module. Store the screws in a organized tray.

   Pry Up the Speaker Module

   Insert a flat spudger under the edge of the speaker housing. Carefully lever up to unclip it and remove the speaker module from the phone.

   Disconnect the Main Flex Cable

   Use the edge of a spudger to pry the main interconnect flex cable press connector straight up off the lower daughterboard.

    Disconnect Antenna Coaxial Cables

    Grasp the antenna cable heads with precision tweezers and pull straight up to disconnect them from the lower daughterboard. Never pull directly on the wire.

    Remove the Microphone Daughterboard

    Slide a flat spudger beneath the daughterboard, which contains the integrated microphone. Pry upward gently to release it from the adhesive below.

    Clean the Frame Port

    Inspect the inner frame's microphone opening for dust or old rubber residue. Clean the port area using a lint-free swab dampened with isopropyl alcohol.

    Install the Replacement Board

    Position the new microphone daughterboard into the bottom cavity of the frame. Press down lightly to adhere and seat the board flush.

    Reconnect Antenna Cables

    Align the coaxial cable connectors over their respective daughterboard sockets. Press down gently with a spudger until each snap into place.

    Attach the Main Flex Cable

    Line up the main interconnect cable connector over the board socket. Snap the connector down firmly until you feel it click into place.

    Reinstall the Speaker Module

    Place the lower speaker module back over the daughterboard assembly. Replace and tighten all Phillips screws securely.

    Apply New Adhesive Strips

    Clean remaining adhesive off the frame edges and lay down fresh perimeter adhesive strips. Remove the protective film backings.

    Reseal the Rear Cover
