Safety
- Wear safety glasses while applying heat to glass components.

Step-by-step

Eject SIM Tray
1 minInsert a SIM eject tool into the hole beside the SIM tray and press firmly to eject it.

Heat Back Cover
2 minApply heat around the rear edges of the phone using a heat gun set to low for approximately two minutes.

Attach Suction Cup
2 minPress a suction cup onto the lower third of the back panel and pull up gently to create a small gap.

Insert Opening Pick
2 minSlide an opening pick into the gap created between the back panel and the frame.

Slice Adhesive
4 minSlide the pick along the outer perimeter of the back panel to cut through the factory adhesive.

Remove Back Panel
2 minLift the back cover off the chassis completely and set it aside on your workspace.

Unscrew Midframe Shield
5 minRemove the Phillips #000 screws securing the upper protective midframe and camera cover.

Pry Off Midframe
2 minInsert a spudger beneath the top edge of the upper midframe and lift it away from the chassis.

Disconnect Battery Connector
1 minPry the battery press connector straight up from the logic board socket using a plastic spudger.

Disconnect Flex Cables
3 minDetach the display flex cable and main ribbon cable connectors from the logic board.

Disconnect Antenna Cables
2 minUse precision tweezers to gently snap off the coaxial antenna cable heads from their logic board sockets.

Unscrew Logic Board
2 minRemove the remaining Phillips #000 screw holding the logic board to the inner frame.

Lift Out Logic Board
3 minGently lever the top edge of the logic board up and lift it out of the phone body.
