Power Off Device

1 minInsert a SIM eject tool into the hole next to the SIM tray. Press firmly to eject the tray and set it aside.

Heat Rear Cover
2 minApply heat from a heat gun or hair dryer around the edges of the back panel for about two minutes to soften the perimeter adhesive.

2 minAttach a suction cup near the bottom edge of the back cover, pull gently to create a gap, and insert an opening pick.

3 minSlide the plastic pick around all four edges of the back cover to cut through the adhesive tape.

3 minGuide the opening pick along the entire screen perimeter to detach the display adhesive.

Remove Damaged Screen
2 minCarefully lift the screen off the frame while threading the display flex cable out of its slot.

Clean Frame Housing
4 minScrape away old tape and glue from the frame ledge using isopropyl alcohol and a plastic spudger.

3 minLay down custom double-sided adhesive strips or apply a thin bead of B-7000 glue along the inner frame rim.

2 minFeed the new display flex cable through the frame opening and press the display assembly firmly into place.
