   Press and hold the power button on the right edge, then tap Power Off on the screen. Ensure the device is fully shut down before proceeding.

   Remove SIM Card Tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool into the small hole on the left side of the frame. Push firmly to pop out the tray and pull it clear of the device.

   Heat Back Cover Edges

   Apply a heat gun or hair dryer set to low heat around all four outer edges of the rear panel for two minutes. This softens the factory adhesive underneath.

   Attach Suction Cup

   Press a suction cup firmly onto the lower portion of the rear plastic panel near the USB-C port. Ensure a tight seal is created.

   Insert Opening Pick

   Pull up on the suction cup to create a slight gap between the back panel and the frame. Slide the tip of a thin plastic opening pick into the gap.

   Slice Perimeter Adhesive

   Slowly slide the opening pick along the bottom, sides, and top edges of the phone. Reapply light heat if the adhesive offers strong resistance.

   Lift Off Back Cover

   Gently lift the back cover straight off the body of the phone once all adhesive is sliced. Set the back panel aside.

   Unscrew Top Motherboard Bracket

   Use a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove the eleven screws securing the top protective plastic cover over the motherboard.

   Remove Top Motherboard Bracket

   Insert a flat spudger under the edge of the plastic motherboard bracket and pry upward. Lift the bracket off and remove it from the phone.

    Disconnect Battery Flex Cable

    Locate the battery connector attached to the motherboard. Use the flat tip of a plastic spudger to pry the connector straight up from its socket.

    Unscrew Loudspeaker Assembly

    Remove the seven Phillips #00 screws securing the bottom loudspeaker assembly located at the base of the phone.

    Pry Up Loudspeaker Assembly

    Insert a spudger under the edge of the loudspeaker module and lift it out of the lower chassis. Place it on your work surface.

    Disconnect Main Interconnect Cable

    Use your spudger to disconnect the main ribbon cable that runs directly over the battery from both motherboard and sub-board ends.

    Remove Main Interconnect Cable

    Carefully lift the broad interconnect ribbon cable away from the battery bay using blunt tweezers and move it aside.

    Apply Isopropyl Alcohol to Battery Adhesive

    Apply a few drops of high-concentration isopropyl alcohol along the top and side margins of the battery. Allow one minute for it to weaken the glue.

    Pry Battery Out

    Slide a flat plastic pry tool under the battery from the side, avoiding the flex cables. Lever the battery upward slowly until it separates from the frame.

    Clean Residual Adhesive

    Use a lint-free cloth dampened with isopropyl alcohol to wipe away all old adhesive residue from the metal battery bay.

    Apply New Battery Adhesive

    Peel the protective backing off fresh adhesive strips and lay them flat inside the battery compartment. Press down firmly to stick.

    Align the replacement battery into the frame, ensuring proper orientation of the flex cable. Press down evenly to seat it against the adhesive.

    Reconnect Main Interconnect Cable

    Lay the main interconnect cable back across the battery and press its connectors firmly into their sockets at both ends until they snap in.

    Reconnect Battery Flex Cable

    Align the battery press connector over its motherboard socket and press straight down until you feel a distinct click.

    Secure Loudspeaker Assembly

    Position the loudspeaker module back into the bottom housing. Reinstall and tighten the seven Phillips #00 screws until snug.

    Secure Top Motherboard Bracket

    Place the top motherboard cover over the board. Reinstall and tighten all eleven Phillips #00 screws securely.

    Apply Back Cover Adhesive

    Place pre-cut adhesive strips along the outer ledge of the rear housing frame and peel off the protective backing film.

    Press Back Cover into Place

    Align the rear panel perfectly over the chassis and press firmly around all edges for one minute to form a solid seal.

    Reinsert SIM Card Tray

    Slide the SIM card tray back into its slot on the left edge of the phone until it sits flush with the frame.
