   Power down the device

   Press and hold the power button, then select Power Off on the screen before beginning disassembly.

   Heat the back glass

   Apply heat to the edges of the back cover for 2 to 3 minutes to soften the factory adhesive.

   Attach suction cup to back cover

   Place a suction cup near the bottom edge of the back panel and pull gently upward to create a slight gap.

   Slice through perimeter adhesive

   Insert a plastic opening pick into the gap and slice along the bottom and side edges to separate the glue.

   Lift off the back cover

   Carefully tilt and lift the back cover away from the phone body, ensuring no hidden ribbons are snagged.

   Unscrew the upper shield

   Remove the Phillips #000 screws securing the motherboard protective bracket and wireless charging pad.

   Remove the motherboard bracket

   Use tweezers or a spudger to lift the plastic top shield out of the phone chassis.

    Use a heat gun around the perimeter of the cracked screen for 3 minutes to soften the frame adhesive.

    Press the suction cup onto the lower portion of the screen assembly and pull upward firmly.

    Insert opening pick along screen edge

    Slide a thin plastic pick between the display glass and the outer aluminum frame.

    Slice through screen adhesive

    Move the pick around all four sides of the front panel to release the display adhesive completely.

    Remove damaged screen

    Guide the screen flex cable carefully through the frame slot as you lift the display away.

    Clean frame adhesive residue

    Scrape away leftover adhesive from the frame using a spudger and isopropyl alcohol on a cloth.

    Connect new display for testing

    Pass the new screen flex cable through the frame slot and plug it into the motherboard socket.
