   Power Off Phone

   Press and hold the power button, then tap Power Off on the screen. Ensure the device is fully shut down before proceeding.

   Eject SIM Tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool into the pinhole next to the SIM tray at the bottom edge. Push firmly to eject the tray and set it aside.

   Heat Rear Glass

   Apply heat using a heat gun around the outer edges of the back cover for 2 to 3 minutes. This softens the underlying adhesive strips.

   Attach Suction Cup

   Press a suction cup near the bottom edge of the glass back panel. Ensure a tight suction seal against the glass.

   Create Glass Gap

   Pull up gently on the suction cup while sliding a thin plastic opening pick into the gap created between the glass and frame.

   Slice Perimeter Adhesive

   Slide the plastic pick along the sides, top, and bottom edges of the rear panel. Cut through all perimeter adhesive thoroughly.

   Lift Rear Glass Panel

   Carefully separate the rear glass panel from the chassis. Lift it away and store it on a clean surface.

   Unscrew Speaker Module

   Remove the Phillips #000 screws holding the lower speaker enclosure to the frame. Keep track of each screw position.

   Remove Speaker Module

   Insert a spudger beneath the edge of the speaker module housing. Pry up gently to unclip and remove the module.

    Disconnect Battery Cable

    Locate the battery flex connector on the main logic board. Use a plastic spudger to pry the press-fit connector straight up.

    Disconnect Main Flex Cable

    Pry up the lower end of the main interconnect flex cable from the charging daughterboard using a spudger.

    Disconnect Antenna Cables

    Use precision tweezers to pry up the white and black coaxial antenna cable heads from the daughterboard sockets.

    Unscrew Daughterboard

    Remove the single Phillips #000 screw securing the charging port daughterboard to the lower frame.

    Remove Old Charging Board

    Pry under the edge of the charging port board with a spudger. Lift the old assembly out of the phone frame.

    Position New Charging Board

    Align the replacement charging port board over the alignment pins in the lower chassis frame. Press it flat into place.

    Secure Daughterboard Screw

    Reinstall and tighten the Phillips #000 screw that secures the daughterboard to the chassis.

    Reconnect Antenna Cables

    Align the coaxial antenna connectors precisely over their daughterboard sockets. Snap them down into place using tweezers.

    Attach Interconnect Flex Cable

    Align the interconnect flex cable connector over its socket on the new daughterboard. Press down evenly until it clicks.

    Reconnect Battery Cable

    Snap the battery flex cable connector back onto the mainboard to restore power connections.

    Reinstall Speaker Module

    Lower the speaker assembly over the daughterboard. Press around the edges until the plastic retaining clips snap shut.

    Thread and tighten all Phillips #000 screws back into the speaker enclosure until snug.

    Readhere Rear Glass

    Apply new pre-cut adhesive strips along the frame perimeter. Align the back glass cover and press down firmly to seal.
