   Turn off the phone

   Press and hold the power button, then tap Power Off on the screen. Ensure the device is fully shut down before proceeding.

   Remove the SIM tray

   Insert a SIM eject pin into the small hole on the bottom frame near the USB-C port. Press inward firmly to pop out the tray and remove it.

   Heat the back cover

   Apply a heat gun on medium temperature along the edges of the back glass for two minutes to soften the adhesive.

   Attach a suction cup

   Place a suction cup near the bottom edge of the rear glass. Pull upward gently to create a small gap between the glass and the frame.

   Slice the rear adhesive

   Insert a plastic opening pick into the gap created by the suction cup. Slide it around all four edges to cut through the adhesive seal.

   Lift off the back glass

   Carefully lift the rear glass off the body of the phone and set it aside on a clean surface.

   Unscrew the motherboard bracket

   Use a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove the 10 screws securing the top protective cover and wireless charging coil assembly.

   Remove the motherboard bracket

   Insert a plastic spudger under the top bracket and gently lift to separate it along with the attached wireless charging pad.

   Disconnect the battery cable

   Locate the battery press connector on the motherboard. Pry it straight up using a plastic spudger to cut power.

    Unscrew the loudspeaker assembly

    Remove the seven Phillips #00 screws securing the bottom loudspeaker assembly to the housing.

    Remove the loudspeaker module

    Pry up the loudspeaker module using a spudger and remove it completely from the phone.

    Use a plastic spudger to disconnect the main display ribbon cable from the lower section of the motherboard.

    Heat the front glass

    Warm the front screen perimeter with a heat gun for three minutes to loosen the strong glue under the waterfall glass edges.

    Insert an opening pick under the top glass edge and carefully run it down the curved sides to release the display.

    Thread display cable out

    Carefully lift the display off the phone frame while guiding its flex cable out through the frame slot.

    Dampen a microfiber cloth with isopropyl alcohol and wipe away all old adhesive residue along the frame perimeter.

    Lay down fresh, pre-cut display adhesive strips precisely along the inner ledges of the frame.

    Thread and seat the new screen

    Guide the new screen's flex cable through the slot in the frame and seat the screen firmly into place.

    Reconnect the display cable

    Align the screen ribbon connector over its motherboard socket and press down firmly until it clicks.

    Reinstall the loudspeaker

    Position the loudspeaker module in the lower chassis and tighten the seven Phillips #00 screws.
