   Power down the device

   Press and hold the power button, then select Power Off on the screen. Ensure the phone is completely shut down before starting.

   Heat the rear glass

   Apply heat to the edges of the rear glass cover using a heat gun or hair dryer for 2 to 3 minutes. This softens the factory adhesive securing the back panel.

   Attach the suction cup

   Press a suction cup firmly onto the lower portion of the rear glass near the charging port. Pull upward gently to create a small gap between the glass and frame.

   Insert an opening pick

   Slide a thin plastic opening pick into the gap created by the suction cup. Be careful not to insert it deeper than 3mm to avoid damaging internal ribbons.

   Slice the perimeter adhesive

   Slowly slide the opening pick around all four edges of the back cover. Reapply heat if the adhesive offers strong resistance.

   Remove the rear glass cover

   Lift the rear glass cover off the phone frame once all adhesive is sliced. Set the glass aside on a soft surface to prevent scratching.

   Unscrew the upper motherboard cover

   Use a Phillips #000 screwdriver to remove the screws holding down the upper bracket and wireless charging pad assembly. Keep track of each screw for reassembly.

   Disconnect the wireless charging coil

   Use the pointed end of a plastic spudger to pop the wireless charging ribbon connector straight up off the motherboard socket.

   Remove the upper frame bracket

   Gently lift the plastic motherboard cover along with the attached wireless charging pad away from the chassis using tweezers.

    Disconnect the battery cable

    Locate the battery connector on the motherboard and pry it directly up with a plastic spudger. Never use metal tools on battery connections.

    Unscrew the lower loudspeaker housing

    Remove the Phillips #000 screws securing the bottom loudspeaker cover to the lower chassis.

    Remove the loudspeaker module

    Insert a spudger under the loudspeaker edge and pry it upward to detach it from the frame.

    Apply isopropyl alcohol to the battery edges

    Drip a few drops of high-concentration isopropyl alcohol along the side edges of the battery. Allow 2 minutes for the liquid to weaken the adhesive underneath.

    Pry up the old battery

    Insert a flat plastic pry tool under the side of the battery away from the mainboard flex cables. Slowly apply upward pressure until the battery releases from the frame.

    Clean adhesive residue from the chassis

    Wipe away remaining glue and alcohol from the battery tray using a clean cloth or cotton swab. Ensure the bay is dry and smooth.

    Apply new battery adhesive

    Lay down double-sided battery adhesive strips flat inside the clean battery well. Peel off the protective film tops.

    Install the new battery

    Align the replacement battery into the frame and press down firmly to secure it to the fresh adhesive strips.

    Reconnect the battery cable

    Align the battery flex connector over its socket and press firmly until you feel it snap into place.

    Reattach the loudspeaker module

    Place the loudspeaker component into the lower frame and tighten the Phillips #000 screws to secure it.

    Secure the upper motherboard cover

    Reconnect the wireless charging coil connector and position the upper bracket back in place. Fasten all retained Phillips screws tightly.

    Apply new back cover adhesive

    Place a pre-cut adhesive gasket along the outer rim of the phone chassis. Peel off the backing tape to expose the sticky surface.

    Press the rear glass into place

    Align the rear glass cover accurately over the phone frame and press firmly along the perimeter to form a tight seal.
