   Remove the SIM card tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool into the hole next to the SIM tray. Press firmly to pop out the tray and slide it out.

   Warm the back cover adhesive

   Apply heat around the edges of the back panel for 2–3 minutes using a heat gun. Keep the heat source moving constantly to prevent thermal damage.

   Attach suction cup to back cover

   Press a suction cup onto the lower portion of the back panel. Pull gently up on the handle to create a small gap along the bottom seam.

   Slice the back panel adhesive

   Insert a plastic opening pick into the seam gap. Slide the pick carefully along all four edges to cut through the perimeter adhesive.

   Lift off the back cover

   Gently lift the back cover up from the phone body. Set the back panel aside in a safe spot.

   Unscrew top motherboard bracket

   Remove the Phillips #000 screws holding the upper plastic motherboard frame in place. Keep track of all removed screws.

   Detach upper shield

   Insert a plastic spudger under the motherboard shield and gently lever it up. Lift the shield off the phone.

    Apply heat evenly across the front screen borders for 3 minutes to soften the glass adhesive. Avoid holding the heat gun over a single spot.

    Separate broken screen from frame

    Attach a suction cup near the screen edge and insert a thin opening tool underneath. Pry up and slice around the edges, then thread the display flex cable through the slot as you remove the screen.

    Clean glass residue from frame

    Scrape off all remaining glass shards and adhesive remnants from the frame ledge using a spudger and isopropyl alcohol. Ensure the surface is clean and level.

    Apply new screen adhesive

    Place custom pre-cut adhesive or double-sided strips along the frame perimeter. Firmly press down and remove the protective backing film.

    Connect replacement display

    Thread the new display flex cable through the frame opening and snap its connector onto the motherboard. Reconnect the battery temporarily.

    Test touch and display output

    Power on the phone to test touch responsiveness and display clarity. Power down and disconnect the battery once verified.

    Seat new display into frame

    Align the top edge of the replacement screen with the frame and press down firmly around all edges to set the adhesive bond.
