Remove SIM card tray
1 minInsert a SIM eject tool into the hole on the bottom edge of the phone to pop out the SIM card tray. Pull the tray completely out of the device.

Heat the back cover
2 minApply a heat gun or hair dryer to the outer edges of the back cover for 2 minutes to soften the internal adhesive.

Attach suction cup
1 minPlace a suction cup near the lower edge of the back panel and pull upward firmly to create a small seam.

Insert plastic opening pick
2 minInsert a thin plastic pick into the gap between the frame and the back panel beneath the suction cup.

Slice perimeter adhesive
4 minSlide the plastic pick around all four sides of the phone to cut through the remaining adhesive strips.

Remove back cover
1 minLift the rear cover straight off the chassis and lay it flat on your work surface.

Unscrew upper midframe
3 minRemove the Phillips #000 screws securing the plastic midframe shield and wireless coil to the body.

Detach upper midframe
2 minInsert a spudger under the edge of the midframe cover and gently lever it off the clips holding it in place.

1 minUse a nylon spudger to pop the battery flex cable straight up off its motherboard socket.

2 minGently pry the antenna coaxial cable heads straight up from the motherboard board using fine tweezers.

Remove rear and front cameras
3 minDisconnect the camera press connectors and carefully pull the camera modules from their recesses.

Remove motherboard screw
1 minUnscrew the single Phillips #000 retaining screw anchoring the logic board to the internal aluminum frame.

Pry out logic board
2 minInsert a spudger under the top edge of the logic board and lift it out of the phone chassis.
