   Remove SIM Tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool into the pinhole on the bottom edge of the frame. Push firmly to pop out the tray and remove it.

   Heat Back Cover

   Use a heat gun on low setting to heat the edges of the back cover for two minutes to soften the adhesive.

   Apply Suction Cup

   Press a suction cup onto the lower portion of the rear panel near the charging port. Pull upward gently to create a small gap.

   Insert a plastic opening pick into the gap created beneath the back cover edge. Slide it carefully along the seam.

   Slice Adhesive Perimeter

   Guide the pick around all four edges of the phone to slice through the factory adhesive tape. Avoid pushing too deep near the internal cables.

   Detach Rear Panel

   Gently lift the back cover straight off the chassis. Set the panel aside on a clean surface.

   Unscrew Loudspeaker Assembly

    Use fine tweezers to gently unclip the white and black coaxial antenna cables from their sockets on the sub-board.

    Remove Sub-Board Screw

    Unscrew the single Phillips #000 screw securing the charging port sub-board to the lower chassis.

    Remove Charging Sub-Board

    Lift the charging sub-board assembly out of its recessed bay using tweezers.

    Apply a small amount of soldering flux across the mounting pins and data pads of the damaged USB-C port.

    Clean residual glue with isopropyl alcohol, then lay down pre-cut adhesive strips along the perimeter frame.
