   Eject the SIM tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool or paperclip into the hole next to the SIM tray at the bottom edge of the phone. Push inward firmly to eject the tray and remove it.

   Heat the back panel

   Apply heat evenly around the outer edges of the back cover using a heat gun for 2 to 3 minutes to soften the adhesive.

   Attach suction cup and create a gap

   Place a suction cup near the bottom edge of the back panel and pull up steadily to create a slight gap between the glass and middle frame.

   Insert opening pick under the back panel

   Slide a thin plastic opening pick into the gap created by the suction cup.

   Slice perimeter back panel adhesive

   Gently slide the opening pick along all four edges of the phone to cut through the adhesive seal holding the rear panel.

   Lift and remove the back cover

   Carefully lift the rear panel off the phone body and set it aside in a safe location.

   Unscrew the upper motherboard cover

   Use a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove the screws holding down the top plastic motherboard shield and wireless charging assembly.

   Remove the upper cover assembly

   Use tweezers or a spudger to lift the top plastic motherboard cover out of the chassis.

   Disconnect the battery cable

   Use the flat end of a nylon spudger to pry the battery flex cable connector straight up from the motherboard.

    Unscrew the lower loudspeaker housing

    Remove the Phillips #00 screws securing the loudspeaker assembly at the bottom of the device.

    Remove the loudspeaker housing

    Insert a spudger under the edge of the loudspeaker unit and pry it up to remove it from the sub-board area.

    Disconnect the screen display flex cable

    Use a spudger to carefully unplug the screen's main ribbon connector from the motherboard board socket.

    Heat the front display panel

    Apply heat to the front perimeter of the OLED display for 3 minutes to loosen the screen mounting glue.

    Insert opening pick under the curved screen

    Press a suction cup on the display glass, pull upward, and slide a thin opening pick between the glass frame and the screen assembly.

    Slice around the screen edges

    Work the pick around the curved perimeter to separate the screen adhesive from the middle frame completely.

    Separate and remove the screen

    Lift the display assembly off the frame while carefully threading its flex cable out through the chassis slot.

    Clean adhesive residue from the frame

    Scrape away remaining tape and clean the frame perimeter thoroughly using isopropyl alcohol and a lint-free cloth.

    Apply fresh display adhesive

    Line the display frame channel with new double-sided adhesive strips cut to size.

    Thread and seat the new screen

    Feed the new display's flex cable through the chassis opening and press the screen flat against the sticky frame.

    Reconnect display and battery flex cables

    Press the screen flex cable and battery flex cable firm into their respective motherboard sockets until they snap into place.

    Reinstall the internal covers and screws

    Position the top motherboard cover and bottom speaker module back in place, then secure all Phillips #00 screws.

    Seal the back cover

    Apply fresh adhesive tape along the back perimeter and press the rear glass firmly onto the middle frame to seal.
