Power Off the Device
1 minPress and hold the power button, then select Power Off on the screen to completely shut down the device.

Eject the SIM Card Tray

Pry Up the Damaged Power Button Flex
2 minSlide flat tweezers underneath the power button flex cable inside the side frame cutout and peel it away from the chassis.

Install the New Power Button Assembly
2 minAlign the replacement power button flex cable inside the internal side bracket and press down firmly to adhere it.

Plug In the Power Button Connector
1 minPress the flex cable connector down onto the motherboard terminal until it snaps into place.

Reconnect the Battery
1 minAlign and press the battery connector back onto its socket on the mainboard.

Reinstall the Midframe Shield
2 minSnap the upper plastic frame back into place and secure it using the Phillips screws removed earlier.

Reseal the Back Panel
