   Power Off Device

   Press and hold the power button, then select power off on the screen.

   Eject SIM Tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool into the hole at the bottom frame to pop out the SIM tray.

   Heat Back Cover

   Apply a heat gun or hair dryer to the edges of the rear panel for two minutes to soften the adhesive.

   Attach Suction Cup

   Press a suction cup firmly onto the lower portion of the rear glass.

   Insert Opening Pick

   Pull up on the suction cup to create a gap, then slide a plastic opening pick under the edge.

   Slice Rear Adhesive

   Slide the pick around all four edges of the back panel to slice through the adhesive.

   Remove Back Cover

   Gently lift the rear cover off the chassis and set it aside.

   Unscrew Upper Frame

   Use a Phillips #000 screwdriver to remove the screws securing the upper motherboard cover.

   Pry Upper Frame

   Insert a spudger under the top plastic motherboard shield and lift it off the frame.

    Disconnect Battery

    Use a plastic spudger to snap the battery connector straight up from the motherboard socket.

    Unscrew Loudspeaker

    Remove the Phillips screws holding the lower speaker module in place.

    Remove Loudspeaker

    Pry up and remove the loudspeaker assembly from the bottom of the device.

    Disconnect Main Flex

    Unplug the main interconnect flex cable from both motherboard and sub-board connectors.

    Lift the interconnect flex cable out of the phone body to clear the path for battery removal.

    Apply Isopropyl Alcohol

    Apply a few drops of high-concentration isopropyl alcohol along the top and side edges of the battery.

    Pry Battery Loose

    Work a flat plastic prying tool beneath the battery edges to gradually break the adhesive bond.

    Lift Out Battery

    Carefully lift the depleted battery out of the frame housing.

    Clean Battery Well

    Wipe away old adhesive remnants from the frame using a microfiber cloth and isopropyl alcohol.

    Apply Battery Adhesive

    Lay down fresh adhesive strips in the battery compartment and peel off the protective backing.

    Install New Battery

    Press the replacement battery firmly into position inside the battery housing.

    Reinstall Interconnect Cable

    Align and press down the main flex cable onto the motherboard and lower sub-board connectors.

    Connect New Battery

    Press the new battery connector straight down onto its motherboard socket until it clicks.

    Reinstall Speaker Module

    Place the loudspeaker cover back into position and tighten its Phillips screws.

    Secure Upper Frame

    Position the top plastic cover and fasten all original Phillips screws tightly.

    Apply Back Cover Tape

    Position pre-cut rear cover adhesive strips along the perimeter of the phone frame.

    Seal Back Cover

    Align the back panel with the body and press down along all edges to seat the adhesive firmly.
