   Power Off the Device

   Press and hold the power button, then select Power Off on the screen. Ensure the device is completely powered down before proceeding.

   Remove the SIM Card Tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool into the hole next to the SIM tray on the bottom edge. Push firmly to eject the tray and remove it completely.

   Heat the Back Glass

   Apply a heated iOpener or heat gun to the bottom edge of the back glass for two minutes to soften the adhesive underneath.

   Attach a Suction Handle

   Press a suction handle onto the lower portion of the rear glass near the bottom edge.

   Insert an Opening Pick

   Pull up gently on the suction handle to create a small gap, then slide a thin opening pick under the back glass.

   Slice Bottom Adhesive

   Slide the opening pick carefully along the bottom edge to slice through the adhesive layer.

   Slice Side Adhesive

   Heat the left and right edges, then work your opening pick along both sides to separate the curved glass adhesive.

   Slice Top Edge Adhesive

   Warm the top edge of the back cover and carefully slice through the remaining adhesive with your pick.

   Separate Back Glass

   Lift the rear glass off the frame completely and set it aside in a safe location.

    Unscrew Lower Speaker Cover

    Use a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove the screws securing the lower loudspeaker cover.

    Remove the Speaker Assembly

    Insert a spudger under the speaker cover edge and gently pry it up from the frame.

    Disconnect Main Interconnect Flex Cable

    Use the flat end of a spudger to pop the main ribbon cable press-connector off the daughterboard.

    Unplug Coaxial Antenna Cables

    Use tweezers to carefully pry up and disconnect the black and white coaxial antenna cables from the daughterboard.

    Lift Out Charging Port Board

    Pry gently beneath the edge of the charging port board with a spudger to release it from the lower chassis.

    Install New Charging Port Board

    Align the replacement charging port board in the frame and press down firmly to set it in place.

    Reconnect Coaxial Antenna Cables

    Use tweezers to position the antenna cable heads over their sockets and snap them gently into place with a spudger.

    Reconnect Main Interconnect Flex Cable

    Align the main flex connector over the socket on the new daughterboard and press down until it clicks.

    Reposition Speaker Assembly

    Set the speaker housing back over the bottom daughterboard and press down to snap it into position.

    Secure Speaker Assembly Screws

    Reinstall and tighten the Phillips #00 screws to hold the speaker housing securely.

    Apply Back Cover Adhesive

    Clean remaining glue with isopropyl alcohol, then apply new pre-cut adhesive strips along the perimeter of the phone frame.

    Press Back Glass Into Place

    Align the back glass over the frame and press down firmly around all edges to secure the bond.

    Reinsert SIM Card Tray

    Slide the SIM card tray back into its slot on the bottom frame until it sits flush.
