Eject the SIM Tray
1 minInsert a SIM eject tool into the hole on the side of the device. Push firmly to eject the tray and remove it.

Heat the Rear Panel
2 minApply a heat gun or hair dryer around the edges of the back cover for two minutes to soften the adhesive.

Attach the Suction Cup
1 minPlace a suction cup on the lower portion of the back cover and pull upward to create a slight gap.

Insert an Opening Pick
1 minInsert a plastic opening pick into the gap created by the suction cup along the bottom edge.

Slice the Edge Adhesive
3 minSlide the pick carefully around all four edges of the device to cut through the remaining adhesive.

Remove the Back Cover
1 minLift the rear cover away from the chassis and set it aside.

Unscrew the Loudspeaker Assembly
2 minUse a Phillips #000 screwdriver to remove the screws securing the bottom speaker module.

Remove Sub-Board Fastening Screw
1 minUnscrew the single Phillips #000 screw holding the charging port sub-board to the housing.

Extract the Charging Port Board
2 minSlide a spudger under the sub-board and lift it out of the phone frame.

Position the New Sub-Board
1 minAlign and press the replacement charging port board into the lower recess of the phone.

Fasten the Sub-Board
1 minReinstall and tighten the Phillips #000 screw to secure the new sub-board.

Reconnect the Antenna Cable
