   Eject SIM Card Tray

   Insert a SIM eject tool into the hole beside the SIM tray on the left side of the phone. Press firmly to pop the tray out and slide it out completely.

   Unclip Rear Cover Seam

   Insert a thin plastic opening pick into the seam between the screen bezel and the rear cover. Slide the pick around the perimeter to release the plastic retaining clips.

   Disconnect Fingerprint Sensor

   Slightly lift the rear cover to expose the fingerprint reader ribbon cable. Use a plastic spudger to gently pop the connector off the motherboard.

   Remove Rear Cover

   Lift the rear cover completely off the frame and place it on a clean surface.

   Unscrew Loudspeaker Assembly

   Use a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove the screws securing the lower loudspeaker housing.

   Pry Up Loudspeaker Module

   Insert the flat end of a spudger under the edge of the loudspeaker assembly and pry gently to unclip it from the lower chassis.

   Disconnect Main Ribbon Cable

   Disconnect Antenna Coaxial Cable

   Grasp the antenna head with precision tweezers and pull straight up to disconnect it from the daughterboard.

   Remove Daughterboard Screws

   Remove the Phillips screws holding the lower microphone sub-board to the phone frame.

    Remove Faulty Microphone Board

    Pry gently beneath the edge of the sub-board with a spudger to break any underlying adhesive, then lift it out.

    Position New Microphone Board

    Place the replacement microphone daughterboard into the bottom chassis recess, ensuring correct alignment with the lower frame.

    Fasten Daughterboard Screws

    Reinstall and tighten the Phillips screws to secure the new daughterboard to the phone housing.

    Reconnect Antenna Coaxial Cable

    Align the coaxial antenna connector over its socket on the daughterboard and press down firmly until it snaps into place.

    Connect Main Ribbon Cable

    Align the main interconnect flex cable over the daughterboard socket and press down squarely to seat the connection.

    Reinstall Loudspeaker Assembly

    Place the loudspeaker module over the lower daughterboard and press it flat until it sits flush.

    Replace and tighten all Phillips screws that secure the loudspeaker housing to the phone frame.

    Hold the rear cover near the phone chassis and reconnect the fingerprint sensor flex cable to its motherboard port.

    Reinsert SIM Card Tray
