Remove the rear cover
1 minLift the rear cover completely away from the phone body and set it aside.

Unscrew the loudspeaker assembly
3 minUse a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove the screws securing the plastic lower speaker housing to the chassis.

Pry up the loudspeaker module
2 minInsert a spudger beneath the notch on the speaker housing and gently lift to detach it from the phone.

Insert the replacement loudspeaker
2 minAlign the new loudspeaker module over the lower chassis cutout and press it firmly into position.

Secure the speaker housing screws
3 minReinstall and tighten all Phillips #00 screws to hold the speaker housing firmly in place.

Reconnect the fingerprint sensor cable
2 minPosition the rear cover near the motherboard and press the fingerprint sensor flex cable straight onto its press connector.

Snap the rear cover shut
2 minAlign the rear cover with the chassis and press firmly along all edges until every clip snaps completely into place.

1 minSlide the SIM card tray back into its slot on the left side of the phone until flush with the frame.
