Power Off the Phone
1 minPress and hold the power button, then select power off to turn off the Moto E6S completely.

Eject the SIM Card Tray
1 minInsert a SIM eject tool into the hole on the left edge of the phone to release the card tray.

Unsnap the Rear Panel
3 minInsert a plastic opening pick into the seam between the back cover and display frame, then slide it around the perimeter to release the plastic clips.

Disconnect the Fingerprint Sensor
2 minGently lift the back cover slightly and use a spudger to pop the fingerprint reader flex cable off the mainboard.

Remove Loudspeaker Screws
2 minUse a Phillips #000 screwdriver to remove the screws holding down the lower speaker housing bracket.

Pry Up Loudspeaker Assembly
2 minInsert the flat end of a spudger under the notch of the loudspeaker module and lift it out of the frame.

Disconnect Battery Connector
1 minPry the battery flex cable directly up from its motherboard socket to prevent electrical shorts during repair.

Install New Speaker Assembly
2 minPosition the new loudspeaker module into the lower housing cavity and press down until it sits flush.

Reconnect Battery Cable
1 minAlign and snap the battery flex cable connector back onto its mainboard socket.

Secure Loudspeaker Cover
2 minReinstall the lower speaker housing and tighten the Phillips #000 screws until snug.

Reconnect Fingerprint Flex
2 minHold the rear cover near the frame and press the fingerprint sensor flex cable connector back onto the motherboard.

Attach Rear Panel
2 minAlign the back cover over the phone body and press firmly along the edges until all clips snap securely into place.

Reinsert SIM Card Tray
1 minPush the SIM and MicroSD card tray back into its slot on the side of the device.
