1 minUse precision tweezers to lift the faulty speaker module out of its recessed bay in the lower housing assembly.

Clean the audio contact pads
2 minLightly dampen a lint-free cloth with isopropyl alcohol and wipe the gold contact pads on the daughterboard to remove debris.

Insert the replacement loudspeaker
2 minAlign the new loudspeaker module with the shape of the lower housing bay and press it gently into place.

Position the lower speaker cover
1 minPlace the plastic lower housing assembly back over the bottom daughterboard, aligning screw holes with the frame.

Secure the speaker housing screws
3 minReinstall and tighten the Phillips #00 screws until snug to hold the speaker assembly firmly in place.

Reinstall the battery
1 minAlign the metallic contacts on the battery with the prongs in the battery well, then press the battery flat into the compartment.
