Remove the lower speaker screws
3 minUse a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove the screws securing the lower loudspeaker module to the bottom of the frame.

Pry out the loudspeaker
2 minInsert the flat end of a plastic spudger under the edge of the loudspeaker assembly and gently lift it out of the housing.

Clean the contact pads
2 minLightly dampen a cotton swab with isopropyl alcohol and clean the spring contact points on the lower circuit board.

Position the new loudspeaker
2 minAlign the replacement loudspeaker module with the bottom recess of the phone and press it evenly into place.

Reinstall the speaker screws
3 minThread and tighten the Phillips #00 screws back into the loudspeaker housing until securely seated.

Reconnect the fingerprint sensor
2 minHold the back cover close to the phone and press the fingerprint sensor flex connector directly onto its motherboard socket until it clicks.

Press the rear cover into place
2 minAlign the back cover over the body of the device and press firmly around all edges until the plastic clips snap shut.

Reinsert the SIM tray
1 minPush the SIM and microSD card tray back into its slot until it sits flush against the frame.

Power on and test audio
