Step-by-step

Power Off the Phone
1 minPress and hold the power button, then select Power Off on the display to completely shut down the phone.

1 minInsert the flat end of a spudger beneath the lower speaker module and gently lift it out of the phone chassis.

1 minGently pry up the coaxial antenna connector from its socket on the bottom daughterboard using precision tweezers.

Remove Daughterboard
2 minPry under the lower daughterboard with a plastic opening tool to lift it away from the phone frame, revealing the integrated microphone.

1 minUse tweezers to carefully remove the rubber microphone seal from the old board and install it onto the replacement microphone board.
