Power off the device

Eject the SIM card tray

10 minApply liquid flux to the target board pads and use a soldering iron with desoldering braid to clear old solder from damaged parts.

Solder replacement components
12 minAlign replacement micro-components on the board pads and solder them using a fine-point iron tip.

Reinstall the logic board
5 minPlace the repaired logic board back into the chassis alignment pins and reconnect all internal cables in reverse order.
