Eject SIM Tray
1 minInsert a SIM eject tool into the pinhole on the left side of the frame. Push firmly until the SIM tray pops out.

Heat Back Cover
2 minApply heat from a heat gun or hair dryer around the outer edges of the back cover for two minutes to soften the adhesive.

Attach Suction Handle
1 minPlace a suction handle on the lower portion of the rear panel and gently pull upward to create a small gap.

Insert Opening Pick
1 minSlide a plastic opening pick into the seam created between the rear cover and the frame.

Slice Rear Adhesive
3 minMove the opening pick along all four edges to slice through the adhesive securing the back cover.

Remove Back Cover
1 minLift the rear cover away from the body of the phone and place it on a clean surface.

Remove Midframe Screws
3 minUse a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove the screws securing the midframe and lower speaker housing.

Unclip Lower Speaker Module
1 minInsert a flat spudger beneath the lower speaker housing and pry gently to unclip it.

1 minLift the speaker module out of the lower chassis to reveal the charging port sub-board.

Pry Out Sub-Board
2 minWedge a plastic spudger under the sub-board and lift the old charging port assembly out of the phone.

Position New Sub-Board
1 minPlace the new charging port sub-board into the lower recess of the phone frame.

Fasten Sub-Board Screw
1 minReinstall the single Phillips screw to secure the new sub-board into place.

Attach Antenna Cable
