Step-by-step

Power down the phone
1 minPress and hold the power button, then select Power Off on the screen to completely shut down the device.

Eject the SIM tray
1 minInsert a SIM eject tool into the pinhole on the upper left side of the phone and push firmly to pop out the tray.

Heat the rear cover

Attach the suction cup

Insert an opening pick
2 minPush a thin plastic opening pick into the seam between the plastic rear cover and the phone frame.

Slice the rear adhesive
3 minSlide the pick carefully around all four edges of the back cover to cut through the perimeter adhesive.

Remove the rear cover
