Power Off Phone

1 minInsert a SIM eject tool into the hole on the left edge of the phone. Push firmly until the tray pops out, then remove it.

Heat Back Cover Edges

Pry Off Back Cover

3 minGently insert a spudger under the edge of the lower daughterboard containing the primary microphone. Pry up to loosen adhesive and lift the board out.

Insert New Daughterboard
2 minPosition the new replacement daughterboard into the bottom cavity, ensuring the microphone port aligns with the frame opening.

Reconnect Ribbon Cables
2 minAlign and press down on the main flex connector and the coaxial antenna cable until they snap securely onto the new board.

Secure Loudspeaker Assembly
3 minPlace the loudspeaker housing back over the daughterboard and reinstall the seven Phillips screws firmly.

Reconnect Fingerprint Sensor
2 minHold the rear cover close to the phone and snap the fingerprint flex connector back onto the motherboard port.

Press Back Cover Into Place
2 minAlign the back cover with the phone frame and press firmly along all edges until the plastic clips snap closed.

Reinsert SIM Card Tray
