Power Off and Remove SIM Card Tray
2 minTurn off your Moto E30 completely. Insert a SIM eject tool into the pinhole on the left side to pop out the SIM card tray.

Heat the Rear Cover Edges
3 minUse a heat gun or hair dryer on low setting to warm the outer perimeter of the back cover for two minutes to soften the adhesive.

Slice the Back Cover Adhesive
5 minAttach a suction cup to the lower back panel and pull up slightly to create a gap. Insert an opening pick and slide it along the perimeter to separate the cover.

Disconnect the Fingerprint Sensor
2 minGently lift the back cover slightly without pulling hard. Use a spudger to pry up the fingerprint reader press connector from the logic board.

2 minUse precise tweezers to unclip the coaxial antenna cable connector from the corner of the logic board.

Remove Logic Board Retaining Screws
3 minUnscrew any remaining Phillips screws anchoring the logic board directly to the internal chassis.

Pry Out the Damaged Logic Board
3 minCarefully pry underneath the edge of the logic board with a flat spudger and lift it out of the phone body.

Transfer Cameras to New Logic Board
5 minDisconnect the front and rear camera modules from the old board using a spudger and snap them into place on the replacement board.

Seat the New Logic Board
