Remove the SIM Tray
1 minInsert a SIM eject tool into the hole on the left side of the device. Press firmly inward to eject the tray and remove it.

Heat the Rear Cover Edges
2 minUse a heat gun or hair dryer on low heat to warm the rear panel edges for about two minutes. This softens the perimeter adhesive.

Attach a Suction Cup
2 minPlace a suction cup on the lower third of the rear panel. Pull up gently on the ring to create a small gap near the USB-C port.

Unclip the Rear Cover
3 minInsert an opening pick into the gap near the bottom edge. Slide the pick around the perimeter to release the plastic clips and slice adhesive.

Disconnect the Fingerprint Cable
2 minLift the rear cover slightly from the left side without pulling the flex cable. Use a spudger to press off the fingerprint sensor connector from the board.

Pry Up the Speaker Enclosure
2 minInsert the flat end of a spudger into the pry notch on the lower speaker housing. Lift the housing upward to detach it from the frame.

2 minUse precision tweezers to pry the loudspeaker module out of the lower plastic enclosure casing. Work gently to avoid damaging the plastic tabs.

Clean Contact Terminals
2 minLightly moisten a cotton swab with isopropyl alcohol and wipe the exposed gold contact pads on the daughterboard. Let the contacts air dry.

Insert the New Speaker
2 minPlace the replacement loudspeaker module into the lower enclosure cavity. Press down evenly until the module sits flush.

Position the Speaker Enclosure
2 minAlign the lower speaker housing over the bottom daughterboard assembly. Press down gently until the alignment tabs sit properly.

Secure the Enclosure Screws
3 minReinstall all Phillips #000 screws into the lower speaker cover. Tighten each screw until snug without overtightening.

Reconnect the Fingerprint Sensor
2 minHold the back cover near the motherboard socket. Use a spudger to align and press the fingerprint flex connector down until it snaps into place.

Snap the Rear Cover Sealed
3 minAlign the back cover over the body of the phone. Press firmly around all edges until the plastic clips lock securely into place.
