Step-by-step

Power off device

Eject SIM tray
1 minInsert a SIM eject tool into the small hole on the top left frame to release and remove the tray.

Heat rear glass
3 minApply a heat gun or iOpener along the edges of the rear cover for two minutes to soften the adhesive.

Attach suction cup
1 minPress a suction cup firmly near the bottom edge of the glass back cover and pull upward to create a gap.

2 minSlide a thin plastic opening pick into the seam between the glass back and the metal frame.

Install replacement loudspeaker
2 minSet the new loudspeaker assembly into the lower cavity and press down until it sits flush.
